Privacy Policy
Last updated February 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Preloadit(“Preloadit”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, applications, and services (the “Service”). We aim to collect only what we need to run the Service securely, reliably, and in compliance with law. Terms not defined here have the meaning given in our Terms of Service.
1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to visitors, account holders, and cardholders. Some processing is carried out by our issuing partners and their banks under their own privacy notices; where a card is issued, the issuing partner's notice also applies to information they process as a controller.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and the credentials and security settings you create.
- Identity & verification information: information and documents needed to verify your identity and meet KYC/AML and sanctions obligations, which may include date of birth, nationality, address, government-issued identifiers, and similar details, collected by us or our verification partners.
- Transaction information: wallet top-ups, card orders, fees, coupons, and the transactions and authorizations made with your cards.
- Payment information: details related to your deposits, including cryptocurrency payment and settlement data processed by our payment partner. We do not store full card numbers or security codes in plain text.
- Communications: messages, support requests, and feedback you send us.
- Technical information: device, browser, log, approximate location, and usage data, and information from cookies and similar technologies, used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- Information from third parties: data from issuing partners, payment processors, and identity, fraud-prevention, and compliance providers.
3. How we use information
- to provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- to open and operate your account, issue cards, and process wallet and card transactions;
- to verify identity and to detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- to comply with legal, regulatory, KYC/AML, sanctions, tax, and accounting obligations;
- to communicate with you about your account, transactions, security, and support;
- with your consent where required, to send product updates, and as otherwise permitted by law.
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal data to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, for our legitimate interests (such as securing the Service and preventing fraud) balanced against your rights, and with your consent where required.
5. How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the Service:
- Issuing banks & card networks: such as the licensed banks that issue our cards (including Cross River Bank, Member FDIC) and the relevant card networks, to issue cards and process transactions;
- Payment & cryptocurrency processors: including our crypto payment partner, to take deposits and confirm payments;
- Identity, fraud, and compliance providers: to verify identity and meet legal obligations;
- Service providers: such as cloud hosting and email delivery, who process data on our behalf under contract;
- Professional advisers and authorities: where required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, property, or safety;
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. International data transfers
We and our partners may process your information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, where required by law.
7. Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. We also retain certain records after your account closes to meet legal, regulatory, KYC/AML, tax, and accounting obligations, in some cases for several years, which may limit our ability to delete data on request.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, two-factor authentication for sensitive actions, and strict handling of card data (full card numbers and security codes are never stored in plain text and are revealed only after additional verification). No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.
9. Cookies & similar technologies
We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the Service (for example, to keep you signed in) and may use limited analytics to understand and improve usage. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect how the Service works.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent. If you are a California resident, you may have rights to know, delete, and correct your information and to not be discriminated against for exercising them; as noted above, we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity first, and some data must be retained to meet legal and KYC/AML obligations even after a deletion request.
11. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email where appropriate, and the “Last updated” date above will change accordingly.
